There are no lock-in contracts on MediPlace. You can cancel or downgrade at any time.

Cancel your subscription

1

Go to Billing

Navigate to Dashboard → Billing.
2

Click Cancel

Select Cancel Subscription and confirm.
3

Active until end of period

Your listings remain live until the end of your current billing period. After that, they become inactive (not deleted).

What happens after cancellation

  • Your listings are automatically deactivated — they are no longer visible to practitioners but all content (photos, description, availability) is preserved.
  • Your public clinic page (if enabled) is automatically disabled and no longer accessible. All data (description, clinic type, slug) is preserved.
  • Your account remains accessible — you can log in and view your dashboard.
  • You can reactivate at any time by choosing a new plan. Your listings will become visible again once you reactivate them from your listings page, and you can re-enable your clinic page if your new plan supports it.

Downgrade your plan

If you’d rather keep a subscription but at a lower tier:
  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing
  2. Click Change Plan and select a lower plan
  3. The downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle

What happens to your listings

If your current number of active listings exceeds the limit of the new plan, MediPlace automatically deactivates the excess listings — starting with the most recently created ones. Your oldest listings remain active. For example, if you downgrade from Clinic (8 rooms) to Multi (3 rooms) and have 5 active listings, the 2 newest listings will be deactivated automatically. You’ll see a warning banner on your dashboard if this happens. Deactivated listings are not deleted — all content is preserved. You can reactivate them if you upgrade your plan later.

What happens to your public clinic page

If you downgrade from Multi (or above) to Solo, your public clinic page is automatically disabled. The page URL will return a 404. All your clinic page data (description, clinic type, year established, slug) is preserved — if you upgrade back to Multi or above, you can re-enable it instantly.
If you’re unsure whether to cancel or downgrade, downgrading keeps your listings active and visible (up to your new plan’s limit). Cancelling removes all listings from search results at the end of the billing period.
