Each room type is designed for a specific set of healthcare practices.
Treatment Room
For hands-on therapy: physiotherapy, massage therapy, osteopathy, acupuncture, naturopathy, and athletic therapy.
A treatment room is typically equipped with a treatment table and clinical essentials. It’s the most common room type on MediPlace.
Consultation Office
For talk-based sessions: psychology, psychotherapy, social work, sexology, marriage and family therapy, art therapy, psychiatry, dietetics, holistic nutrition, and neuropsychology.
A private, soundproofed space furnished for seated practice — two chairs, a desk, and a calm environment.
Exercise / Rehab Space
For guided exercise and rehabilitation: kinesiology, physiotherapy, and athletic therapy.
An open layout with enough room for movement and exercise equipment. Ideal for practitioners who need floor space and resistance tools.
Assessment Room
For evaluations and diagnostic testing: occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, audiology, and neuropsychology.
A desk-based setup with good lighting and storage for assessment tools and materials.
Specialized Treatment Room
For practices requiring specialty equipment: chiropractic, audiology, and other specialized setups.
This room type accommodates custom equipment like chiropractic adjustment tables, decompression tables, or audiology booths that wouldn’t fit in a standard treatment room.
Group / Workshop Room
For group sessions, classes, and workshops: kinesiology, naturopathy, holistic nutrition, and art therapy.
A larger space with flexible seating or open floor area. Suitable for group therapy, wellness workshops, or movement classes.
Shared / Hot-Desk Clinical Space
A flexible-use space where multiple practitioners rotate on a schedule: psychology, dietetics, social work, and psychotherapy.
Basic furnishing with shared amenities. Each practitioner books specific days or time slots rather than having a dedicated space.

- Auto-suggested professions — When you pick a room type, MediPlace suggests the professions most commonly associated with it.
- One room per listing — Each listing represents one physical room. If you have multiple rooms, create a separate listing for each.
