MediPlace is fully bilingual. The entire platform — navigation, search, listing pages, and dashboard — is available in both English and French. Your listings are automatically translated so practitioners in either language can find and understand your space.
How it works
When you create a listing:
- Choose your writing language — Write your title and description in English or French (whichever you’re more comfortable with)
- Automatic translation — MediPlace translates your listing to the other language automatically
- Both versions go live — Practitioners browsing in English see the English version; those browsing in French see the French version
Editing translations
If the automatic translation doesn’t capture a nuance or uses wording you’d prefer to change, you can manually edit the translated version. Both the original and translated text are editable from the listing editor.
What gets translated
- Listing title — Translated automatically
- Listing description — Translated automatically
- Room type, professions, amenities — These are system labels, already available in both languages
- Clinic name, address — These are proper nouns and are not translated
Why it matters
Canada has a large francophone population, particularly in Quebec. By offering bilingual listings, you reach both English- and French-speaking practitioners without extra effort on your part.
Write in the language you’re most fluent in. The auto-translation handles the other language, and you can always fine-tune it afterward.
