When you create a listing, MediPlace helps you specify which health professionals your space is suited for and what equipment is available. This ensures your listing appears in the right search results.
How profession selection works
- Choose a room type — In the listing form, you start by selecting a room type (e.g., Treatment Room, Consultation Office).
- Auto-suggested professions — Based on the room type, MediPlace automatically suggests the professions most commonly associated with that space.
- Adjust manually — You can add or remove professions from the suggested list. This is your listing — you know best which professionals your space accommodates.
Example
If you select Treatment Room, MediPlace suggests: physiotherapist, massage therapist, osteopath, acupuncturist, naturopath, and athletic therapist. If your room also works for kinesiologists, you can add that profession manually.
Why professions matter
Practitioners search by profession. If a physiotherapist searches for spaces suited to their practice, only listings that include “physiotherapist” in their profession list will appear. Accurate profession selection means your listing reaches the right people.
Equipment fields
Equipment details are contextual — the fields available depend on the room type you selected. This helps practitioners understand exactly what the room offers without requiring a long, unstructured description.
Be thorough when selecting professions — the more accurately you describe who your space is for, the more relevant inquiries you’ll receive.
